America's blessings and prosperity cannot be separated from the practice of God's principles, which are found in our Judeo-Christian beliefs. She is the first born child of Robert H. Schuller. As such, she had a front row seat to watching God move in her father’s life.
She served as assistant producer of the Hour of Power and also as his senior editor for more than 12 of his manuscripts, including “Tough Times Never Last but Tough People Do”, and “The Be Happy Attitudes”.
In addition, Sheila has 16 years of experience in education. She combines a love for children with a deep devotion to the church. Sheila holds a Doctorate in Education from UCI and has authored several books, including “Unearthing the Lost Treasure: Wisdom”, which features an endorsement by Dr. Ben Carson. And her latest, “Claiming the Identity of Christ’s Children. A Handbook for Families”.
Today, she serves as the Founder and Lead Pastor of Hope Center of Christ in Orange, California. It is a house of prayer, the spiritual pentagon for the international prayer movement, Heart of a Warrior: Delivering the Children of the World for Christ.
She actively partners with 15 ministries that are being an answer to the varied attacks on our children world-wide.

This led to the innovative "drive-in church" at a theater snack bar, where the motto was "Come as you are in the family car," allowing people who felt uncomfortable in traditional settings to hear the Gospel from their vehicles.

The Theology of the Seed and Limitless Faith
A core theme of the discussion is the "theology of the seed," based on Matthew 17:20. Sheila recounts her father’s belief that while anyone can count the seeds in an apple, only God can count the apples in one seed. This perspective encourages believers to look past their "lack"—whether in health, resources, or education—and focus on a "limitless God." Sheila illustrates this faith through a childhood memory of her father taking her out into a terrifying Iowa thunderstorm to show her "God’s power on display," teaching her that faith is a gift required for the tasks God assigns.

The ministry’s reach expanded exponentially following a suggestion from Billy Graham to put the church service on television. Graham even loaned his production team to help launch the Hour of Power. The program eventually broke historical barriers, becoming the first religious program broadcast in the communist USSR on Channel One Russia after a meeting between Dr. Schuller and Mikhail Gorbachev. This global impact was rooted in the elder Schuller’s refusal to be deterred by critics; he famously stated that he didn't care what other pastors said about him because they were already saved—his focus remained entirely on the unsaved.

Raising Expectations Team - Our Godly Mothers

Dear Friends,
We will be celebrating Mother’s Day, a beautiful and wonderful occasion indeed!
Abraham Lincoln aptly stated, "No man is poor who has a godly mother!"
As we ponder this profound statement, we are reminded of God’s beautiful plan and design.
As believers, we understand that a godly mother embodies the ‘Heart and Love of Christ’ to her children.
She remains cognizant of her influential role and responsibilities over their lives and futures, thus making sacrifices for their welfare without hesitation.

This week, our team will share why we are grateful for our mothers and how God guided us through childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood because of them and our dads.
We look forward to being together with you and encourage you to think about your mothers and how 20/20 hindsight and perhaps a great amount of personal growth in wisdom and your relationship with God may have given you a new appreciation and understanding of Lincoln’s words!

Al Qaeda suicide bombers killed 17 sailors and injured nearly 40 others. It was a terrible day that has become a source of determination and camaraderie for our great United States Navy.
Catherine Herridge well known Fox and CBS journalist and senior investigative reporter has done an interview and article with Paul and one other officer that is outstanding.
It will be discussed on our show with former Texas Congressional Candidate Charles Lingerfelt, Paul Abney and our wonderful Raising Expectations Team on March 17th!
Charles is the editor of The Christian Times Magazine (world wide distribution) which will feature Master Chief Paul Abney on the cover of its March Edition with the story inside!
Paul is a devout committed Christian who grieved horribly for his fellow crew members- but whose strength of faith and character was and is a source of peace for his men and women in uniform to this day!

With Guest, Pastor Will Hobbs - A Call to Prayer During this Holiday Season

Dear Friends,
As you and our team prayerfully attend Christmas programs at church, family gatherings in homes, neighborhood walks to see Christmas lights and more, you will be in our prayers!
As we said last week, Christmas is about the Greatest Gift ever given to the world. It’s not just about decorations, lights, trees and gifts , but rather a reminder that no one is beyond Gods reach or love. The miracle and prayer stay with us always… now there’s an expectaions raiser!
For all God gave us at Christmas, I always think first of (simply put) two things…
1. He was born in a manger because there was no room for them anyplace in Bethlehem! One couple took pity on them and gave them their barn which was really a small cave where animals would sleep and take shelter.
It was a dirty, disgusting and undesirable place. They laid Him in a manger there - a rough trough from which the animals ate their food. What a humbling setting… *but God had a reason, to show us that He always shows up in the most unlikely places. His love doesn’t start at the top and work its way to the bottom…No His love starts at the very bottom and works its way up to the top! It’s a beautiful story that reminds us that no one is beyond Gods reach and love!
2. Secondly, when God really wanted to express His level of love for us and desire to change us, to know us personally, *He Showed up in person! He said there is no place I won’t go in order to find you and connect with you!
Friends, Christmas is time to celebrate that Almighty God didn’t forget us. He didn’t send a book and say read this…no He showed up in person!
So take Him out of the manger and receive Him into your heart by faith!
Discover how He will show up for us everyday in every way for He is only a Prayer away!
As the Great old hymn says;
Oh how I love Jesus
Oh how I love Jesus…
Oh how I love Jesus
Because He First loved me!

President George Washington's “Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1789” was the first presidential proclamation of Thanksgiving in the United States. 🇺🇸 He called the new nation to stop and thank God for all they had come through and guidance for the future. Washington had so much to thank God for as he and the new fledgling United States of America looked back at all God had brought them through to become nation!
We have so much to be thankful for today-our families, homes, country and of course Gods love, gift of salvation and faithfulness in our lives!

This week our dear friends Dr. Marianne and Will Cintron will join our team- Dr. Paul Hall, Dr. Craig and Stef Thayer, Pastor Ron Greer, and myself, to share thoughts on Thanksgiving from our lives!

Election 2024 is over and the nation has voted a mandate for President-elect Donald Trump, vice-president elect JD Vance, a change of direction and call for Constitutional America first leadership.
So much has been said here and will continue in the weeks ahead as people review and digest what happened.
Donald Trump has clarified and given clear answers to a multitude of questions on all fronts, and Americans have given him and the Republicans a landslide victory the likes of what we have not seen since President Ronald Reagan was elected.
Now, as he stated at his victory celebration early Wednesday morning, the time has come to work together. He shared from his heart that he believed God had saved him from the bullets in Butler for a reason and has a plan for him and America.
It’s time to PRAY for President Trump and all the people of our nation as we move forward.

We are glad to have our good friend and security- protection specialist Frank Roberson back with us this week!
He is a man who has trained using his God given skills to become one the best in personal protection today, founding his agency “Black Rhino Executive Protection Investigations”.
Many sought Frank’s opinions on the events and coverage of the assassination attempt on President Trump. He has great insight on what we are facing with the criminal elements that have infiltrated illegally across the borders. Frank brings it all down to “where we live” as members of society today.
Protecting our families and friends. In his own words;
“Learning how to spot pre-event indicators can significantly improve personal safety. Whether you’re at the grocery store or attending church, detecting potential threats is key to staying safe.”
*Response should be conditioned and automatic.
We should know what to do and how to do it.
We know that God gives us gifts and talents to use for what He calls us to do in life.

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Our relationship with Him grows as we experience His presence in all situations. When we respond automatically we often see God at work and we’re so thankful!
Sometimes we have to ask Him “why” … and then as we listen for His response- we are amazed and thankful for what we have learned and instilled in our lives… and ready to advance to the next adventure God has prepared just for each of us!
Frank cares about people and he is a person you will truly appreciate knowing! He has trained and uses Gods gifts and talents to benefit us all. *Perhaps best of all , talking with his Lord and Savior as his “ friend” each day! He and his wife Christy are a special couple.
